Said to the sound of Julia Andrew’s in the Sound of Music. Just sharing, in thus thread as I come across places that I’ve really enjoyed. ALL places are great, but there are some closures and new places so thought I’d share.
Monistrol d’Allier- restaurant “ Le Pain du Sucre” great pizza but the salad I got from Peter , the owner, was beautiful and yummy!

Last night a new gite in Chazeau opened her sofa to my daughter and me, she was complete , everywhere is complete!!!! I’m hearing of people leaving due to this. Her dinner was fabulous, her gite as sweet as the get, a little garden where she allowed tents, escorted my friend’s donkey to its stable, and let the most well behaved dog sleep outside. Elodie is her name. This was my ending after Saugues, I fell in love with the donkey and wanted to stop. The meal was AMAZING, and loving!!!
