Lol according to dna ancestry and tracing my forefathers origins in Spain..going back to @1400,1500s in mid northwestern Spain may explaine a few things

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Well, my DNA makes me 95% Baltic ... but I absolutely love Spain. I was incredibly surprised when I felt so at home there. When I walked the Portuguese from Lisbon I felt my energy shift / relax as soon as I crossed the river into Spain - I was 'home'. This year I walked in France for two weeks and felt like a 'stranger in a strange' land. I cut that Camino short and headed to Spain - home again :)
So, I don't know what the connection or draw is - if it's not in my DNA then what?
Whatever it is I don't really care - I just will keep going back till I can't.

I like the idea. I've often wondered if there is direct link between the intense pull inside me to walk across Europe, the Holy Land and Britain and my mixted up DNA. My stomach is definitely from my french forebears, and my wide long feet are from my Great Great Grossmutti Amalie. The chattering and storytelling are from the irish in me and the feeling of being intensely at home in Norway probably stems from a few anglophilic Vikings -Mum's DNA suggested that.... hey, perhaps I'm related to Ivar!!!! How about that.

Funny thing mentioning other roots
A passing glance also showed Irish,Roman, not so much french as arabic, norse and a few lesser rootlets in there.

Reading here and there about migrations, tribal intermingling,in the sense of great movements of peoples trading and adventuring...seems some of my past tied up with great wanderings.

A large part though is Northern Spain, esp basque country ish
Of course there is the South American component which is surprisingly smaller than european.
Whooda thunk?

Were all just humans being..I dont expect any great epihany or a supernova of conciousness..although a smidge of wow, ive seen this before...somewhere
A smattering of deja vu
A sense of "home" would be nice.

But being a part of this community of all you guys is Better
