The Famine Way in Ireland

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi. I walked the section that is in common with the Royal Canal Way from Cloondara to Dublin (this was part of my camino route from home) in summer 2021. I met few other hikers but more folks on bikes, though plenty of locals out for short walks. Some sections are more remote and pleasant, other sections are in more built up areas.
Accommodation was the only issue- I ended up with some very different length days due to availability in B&Bs and pubs along the way.
Also I know recently one section close to Dublin was closed to upgrade it to a bike path - not sure when it is due to reopen.

Hopefully going to walk The Famine Way this September. Has anyone walked this trail ?
I bought passes during covid never used them looks a great walk.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
