My version of Caldo Gallego today. Ham (no unto available), beans, potato, onions,collards.
I don' t have unto in Madrid either but it doesn't matter I prefer ham and olive oil extra instead. It seems that the grelo harvest in Galicia this year is very bad because weather but I have them from Alcampo sometimes. There is some production in Madrid.
 
Oh my goodness! Alcampo! - context! I remember hearing some in the community (1994) telling me they were going 'al campo'. Due to my limited knowledge, I believed they were heading out of town...

I confused with Decathlon ( poles) that is also a French hyper.
 
Yes, I read the grelo harvest is not bountiful this year. I saw several good looking fields of them a couple of weeks ago when on the Camino, but can't get them here in the US now that I am back.
