Today I walked from Santiago to Negreira and it seemed to be about 70% asphalt, which I am finding to be hard on my feet. Is the rest of the route pretty similar?

lbpierce,

No the rest of the way is NOT all on asphalt but across pastures, woodland and eventually before Cee some rock. For me one special vista on this Camino is always the first glimpse of the distant sea as seen from these rolling hills. Near-by is the simple, welcoming albergue at San Roque/Corcubion. >> http://caminodesantiago.consumer.es./al ... san-roque/ From their dorm window when you see the timeless lighthouse beacon at Finisterre shining in the black night sky all is magical. Next day as you walk into Finisterre you can in part walk on the sand along the shore.

Buen Camino,

Margaret Meredith

I hope to be doing that part in about a week. I will be in Sarría tomorrow to finish the last 5 days to Compostela and then...off to Finisterre!
