I will be arriving on a Sunday in TUI, I read that everything is closed on Sundays. Is that correct? I want to be prepared and buy food supplies on Saturday. I would appreciate if you have any info about it.

That was my experience last October. Buy your stuff on Saturday

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
In July 2023 I arrived in Tui on a Sunday and most restaurants had open and a some supermercados, too.
No Problem at all. It may differ off season but in my experience I had no problem at all.

Have fun!

Many restaurants in Spain do not open for the evening meal on Sunday, but almost all are open for lunch, approximately 2-4.
Good point.
I was nearly caught out on a Sunday in Alvorge, which is a much smaller town than Tui. The albergue where I had booked a private room was attached to the only restaurant in town, which was very busy when I arrived at lunch time.
I had to wait quite a while until the owner could attend to me to get into my room. After washing my clothes I laid down for a short nap. When I woke up, the restaurant was pretty much closed, and the owner didn't speak English or Spanish. The only other pilgrim staying there that day was a French man who interceded for me since the restaurant/albergue owner spoke French, and I was able to have a lovely meal. The French pilgrim had been smarter then me and ate his meal while the restaurant was still open.

Thank you. I will be there next month and wanted to make sure. A pilgrim arrived yesterday in Tui and she said that supermarkets and restaurants/cafes were closed.

I just searched for restaurants on Google Maps, and found quite a few that show that they are open on Sunday evenings.

I used a custom filter:

Here's the map showing the results:

Google Maps does say that the listed hours may not be correct, so you would definitely have to check yourself.
