Probably little comfort to you to know it but about this time last year Spain was experiencing near-record high temperatures well over 40C in much of the country. With two deaths of pilgrims from heat-related causes in one week. Look after yourself. Be realistic in your plans. And make sure you have plenty of water.
In Spain, the hottest time of the day is generally from 1300 to 1800. In many other parts of the Northern Hemisphere, peak temperatures are from 1000 to 1500.
