I walked it in about 25 days, these were the maximum days that I could get away and I decided to walk and see to where I would get. I did not walk fast (between 20 and 25 a day) and took one or two rest days. It worked well for me... it was good not to push myself, something I am really good at and too often do!
Also I walked at a very hot time - 40 to 45 C was the standard most days - so walking after mid-day was near impossible. In September that should be very different!
