Hi, I'm starting on Sunday October 2nd from Lisbon. Flying in from Dublin, Ireland. Just wondering if there are any others starting then as I'm travelling on my own and would appreciate some company getting through Lisbon and onto the Central Route

I'll be walking from Lisbon.Hi ! Am arriving into Lisbon on Monday, starting cycling on Tuesday from Lisbon.
my husband was meant to be cycling also, but he has a broken elbow so will take the train and I’ll meet him along the way. So, that’s me on my Todd also. I’ll look out for you, unless of course you are going to train to Porto and take the Central route from there ?
Just FYI....we biked the CP a couple weeks ago. The route from Coimbra to Porto is extremely hilly with very steep sections (they were short but it was a slog). A stage of 38 miles (which we normally do in 3 hours or so) took us like 7-8 hours because we had to walk up so many of the steeps. We had panniers, but only carried things for the day (had luggage sent). There are sections from Sao Joao de Madeira to Porto that are rocky and you will need to lift bikes over rocks. You can stay on the main roads like the N13- they usually have wide bike paths.Hi ! Am arriving into Lisbon on Monday, starting cycling on Tuesday from Lisbon.

I started last Friday! Enjoy!Hi, I'm starting on Sunday October 2nd from Lisbon. Flying in from Dublin, Ireland. Just wondering if there are any others starting then as I'm travelling on my own and would appreciate some company getting through Lisbon and onto the Central Route
Thank you, how's it goingI started last Friday! Enjoy!
Great, thanks for the adviceIt's tough especially my first day as I was stepping at Alpriate only to arrive to it being closed as the keys had been lost - had to go or to Alverca which is 7K further so kind of messed me up that day and the next but it was no real drama! a bit of advise IF you're not a Pureist - walk out of Liston along the river, the signs are terrible and once you are at the Oceanarium you pick up the signs. Also, the Metro from the airport is awesome!
Just walked to Santarem today so all is going Ok!
Enjoy
