As i understand it there are 2 routes to get from SJPP to where it crosses the Baztan, the GR10 and Via Nive-Bidassoa.
The GR10 intersects at Ainhoa and the Via Nive -Bidassoa near Souraide?
They both pass through Bidarray?
Are the distances quite similar?

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I’ve walked to GR 10 route. It’s direct and has to be the shortest. Be sure to plan for The weather. It’s a fairly high route in his some steeper grades. The Via Nive looks like fun, but I haven’t had a chance to walk that one.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
If you follow the GR10 from SJPdP, you will meet the Baztan route in Ainhoa. I think it is better to use a GPX file if possible.
