Time of past OR future Camino
Le Puy to sjpdp, next planned Norte.
I plan to start el norte from Irun Sept 1 and change over to el Primativo. I've done pther caminos before but after skipping a year due to the pandemic I'm anxious to get back. I'm getting older so each camino adventure is a challenge and precious.

Billy Buell, Camino del Norte and Camino Primitivo hold fond memories for me. I've done other Caminos, and am about to go on Ruta do Mar and Camino Inglés but hope to go back and walk the CDN and Primitivo again. I, too, am getting older and feel an urgency to see and do everything I've always wanted, sooner rather than later:-)
Buen Camino!

Give back to the Camino. Join us from Logroño to Burgos May 30 to June 8.

After 5 years break from 2017 Camino Frances, I too am starting from Irun on September 3rd and then changing over to Primitivo hopefully. Not 100% certain about Primitivo just yet as I might want to do that one another time. A bit nervous but very excited as well. Giving myself more time to walk this time, as Frances was rushed due to time restraints and competition for beds. Hope to see you on the way🤓buen camino. 🦶

Hi Billy
I may be one day ahead of you I fly out on the 29th August and start walking on the 30th, Have walked Frances twice and Portuguese once and like you I am getting older missed out walking these last few years due to Covid , you loose a bit of fitness and add a bit of weight by not doing these walks often, planning a good fitness program over the summer to get me up to speed for the walk. Should have started this March but I had a food problem dating back to last summer which stopped me doing any serious training, seems to be ok now so will be bashing the miles up to get me ready. Looking forward to being a Perigrino again.
