Keith,

I'm in Montana now, but flying to CA for an event on Sep 19th and flying from LAX to Barcelona the next day. Why are you stuck in CA?

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!

I'm starting from Santander on 30th September, so will probably be a little ahead, depending on our progress.

When you arrive in San Sebastian after that long trek treat yourself to the best ice cream on earth at Boulevard Gelateria. RIght outside the Central Historico.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

I arrive in Santander on the 4th. I'm doing some big stages but don't think I'll catch up.

I've confirmed all of my accommodations along the way and look forward to the Norte/Primitivo. Arriving Irun September 23 and heading to San Sebastian on September 24. This is soooooo much needed.

I will arrive at Irun on the 23rd of September and set out on the 24th. However when you mentioned you already booked all your accommodation I was left wondering if I should do that? I am planning on taking detours towards the sea to avoid highways/asphalt and since this is my first Camino I am not sure how my body will cope to accurately say I will be at a given place every day of my pilgrimage. So basically I will walk without any reservations. Will you start at Irun city center or at Hondarribia? Buen camino!

It is always a good idea to book in advance. Send me your email in a direct message and I'll send you my schedule including my choice for bookings.

I wouldn't say that it's always a good idea to book in advance. And it depends how far in advance. Depending on the route, time of year, etc. I will either walk without reservations or book a day or two ahead to maintain flexibility.

I start from Santander on Thursday 30th September. This is my 3rd time on the Norte. I had hoped to take a train to Mogro, and walk from there. However, it looks like there is a train strike in Spain that day, so may need to have alternative arrangements. I have booked a bed in Santillana for that night.
You will have got into your stride, by the time our paths may cross. Enjoy your Camino, it will be great.

Holoholo automatically captures your footpaths, places, photos, and journals.
Thank you! I’m in no hurry, hopefully we cross paths! Feel free to drop me a message with a whatsapp number or email. Buen camino!
