Sending items for future use

2025 Via Francigena - Lucca to Rome
I expect not too many would have experience here however I know how resourceful forum members are.

I would like to send two small packages I.e special skin soap, bed bug spray, guide books etc. for pickup as I make my way through Le Puy en Velay and St. Jean Pied de Port. I start my Camino on August 1st and expect to be in these two cities at the start of September and October respectively.

Any ideas as to how this could be done? Have you stayed in a particular accommodation where the owner might be the type to help here? I'm trying to find a way to save some weight yet have some assurance that a few key items will be there when I need them.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

I saw elsewhere that they hold parcels and letters for two weeks.

You could also send a parcel to the Pilgrim's Office in SJPP. In the past they have held packages for pilgrims, so I assume they still do that.
