It's about time. For anyone other than a young student with a small carry on the experience could be dire.

I have to admit though that travelling mid week to and from Santiago was fine for me (earlier this year)

Given the strength of character of Michael O'Leary, I suspect for real change to occur he needs to "spend more time with his family"

Won't be miracles or concern for customers. Will be the commercial reality of people choosing other options when confronted with the myriad 'add-ons'. You can't pull the wool over customers' eyes forever.

I'm afraid I will still use Ryanair as infrequently as possible, until - like most other airlines - he lets me take a collapsible walking pole in my back-pack
