Rideshare Services on the Camino Frances - How do I find them?

Hello,
I am looking for advice on options for getting from Astorga to Sarria. I have looked on various sites (Omio, Monbus) and can't seem to find any bus or train options available. I am wondering if hiring a private car is the only option. If so, how do I find online links to access those services? I recall from several years back seeing handwritten signs posted along the trail but was hoping there might be other contacts information available that would allow for advance planning. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Blablacar is a rideshare service in Spain. You can search for people driving your route on your specific day or put out a “notice” to let others know you are seeking a ride. Prices vary based upon what the driver wants to charge, but it’s listed right up front so there are no surprises.

That is an easy one to answer: I use Google and choose mass transit and you usually get a few options or rome2rio.com is another option

Astorga to Sarria is the best part of the Camino. Don't know why you would want to skip it.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

I did that july '22. Took a bus from Astorga to Lugo and then from Lugo to Sarria. If you are not in a hurry try to have time to see the old Roman wall in Lugo. It is spectacular. Both routes are shown on omio.com but search for them separately.

Hi there! Look into BlaBla car. I used it from Logroño to Leon. It was easy and inexpensive

BlaBla car is great! If you don’t see anyone on that route on your day, keep checking back as more rides get posted as the date approaches.

Rome2Rio shows both bud and train service on that route, but nothing direct. If they are not showing up for you, perhaps modify your search by a day.
