Sanabres spring 2024
I am planning on walking the Camino Frances starting in St. Jean Pied-de-Port on April 18, 2016, finishing at Finisterre in late May.
Getting to St. Jean: I'll be flying from Los Angeles to Paris, then my plan is to overnight in Paris, take the TGV train from Paris-Montparnasse to Bayonne, and then my first question is how do I get from Bayonne to St. Jean? Train, bus, combination, or taxi?
Getting from Finisterre to Santiago: I have read on this forum that there is a bus from Finisterre to Santiago, how often does it run, and is it easy to get a ticket?
Getting from Santiago to Paris: What is a good route or plan to get from Santiago to Paris? Would it be possible to get to Bayonne, take the TGV to Paris-Monparnasse, then catch my return flight from Charles de Gaulle to Los Angeles? Is there a train from Santiago to somewhere where I can transfer to a bus to get to Bayonne? Or bus all the way from Santiago to Bayonne, or something else?
Thank-you!
