Camino Portugues 2016
I have tablets that require refrigeration. In 2016 our group will utilise baggage services for our Portuguese Camino. Here in Australia, I have not been able to find a suitable small bag to hold my tablets in a cool/refrigerated way. Does anyone know what might be available & from where, please?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Hrm... you can get backpacks that have insulation to act as a cooler ('cooler backpacks')... but I am not sure of the best way to keep something actually refrigerated on the move other than getting some pre-stored in town pharmacies.

I am not in Australia, but I would ask in a bigger pharmacia/ medical care supply shop. Alternatively I would look into a big household goods shop if there is something appropriate that you could use by thinking a bit outside the box or even make my own out of Styrofoam, alu foil and sturdy plastic. Buen Camino! SY

In which season you will walk and where do you start ?
We walked in May twice and the northern part wasn't that hot specially not in the morning. In hostals most of the time will be a fridge where you can leave the medicines as soon as you arrive untill the next morning and probably with an undercooled (frozen ) gel cushion in a styropor insulated box you could regulate the temperture of the medication the best during the walk I think ,but as SYates writes ,ask your local farmacy for an advice.
Bom caminho

Not sure if this will help. There are packs for taking insulin called Frio Packs. Check it out, they may also have medication packs
Buen Camino

Hi fellow wanderers, I always put my backpack into hold luggage on the flight out (I have poles, and fly Ryan Air!). To protect the backpack I always put it, and my poles into a tote bag. The...

I marveled how clean the CF is, so many people so little impact. Now and again I'd find a lost glove, hat or fancy water bottle so I'd pick it up in hopes to return it to the owner. On one occasion...
