Ivar has recently made some changes on the Forums list. Scroll down under Highlights until you see the forum Santiago de Compostela - The Destination. Check out the sub-forums and all the threads that are listed below the sub-forums.
.
In addition, the following links may be of interest:
  • Art and architecture – Threads about art and architecture in Santiago, excluding the Cathedral. (See the Cathedral sub-forum for those threads.)
  • Food & drink – Places to eat and drink in Santiago.
  • Landmarks - Interpreting the word broadly! These are interesting places in Santiago other than the Cathedral.
  • Mass and church services – Mostly about churches other than the Cathedral. (See the Cathedral sub-forum for those.) Also organized opportunities for spiritual reflection after the Camino.
  • Medical care – Are you looking for a medical clinic, doctor, dentist, physiotherapist, massage in Santiago? (Check also under "Shopping and services" below.)
  • Moderator picks – These are good threads that don’t fit into another category.
  • Shopping and services – You may want to shop for souvenirs or pilgrim supplies in Santiago, or find services such as laundromat or barbershop.
Another good reference is the Tourism Office of Santiago.

Please continue to start new threads on any of these topics, and others. Don't worry about tagging - moderators will do that. Then come back to this thread to browse, since the links will update in the future, every time you use them.

After initial questions and corrections, this thread will be closed so that it serves as a reference rather than a discussion.

Hello, I'm not doing the Camino (yet), so I don't know if this question fits in this forum... But I'm looking for advice and I think this is the best place. I'm planning a three or four days trip...
I haven't done a live feed on this last section of my camino from home in Ireland which I started back in 2021 - but quire excited to reach SdeC tomorrow on 6th June!
