@Redlory, as far as lightweight lists go I don't think you can do much better than
@Anhalter, whilst retaining full comfort.
Mine weighs significantly more, my backpack alone is a full kilo heavier than his. (Although to be fair I suspect I've paid somewhat less than he has as well!)
You'll note quite a number of items that are not exactly necessary, or where I could have gone significantly lighter. Things like my sandals and my towel I already owned - I use what I have and live with the extra weight.
Nor do I muck around cutting soap in half etc. If I've got a part one I might take it but more often than not it's branch new.
I'm also somebody that likes the luxury of that extra pair of socks and underwear - that's something I've gained from long experience.
It's very easy to shave this list down by a couple of kilos if you wished ( my summer list is way lighter)
I simply can't be bothered.
Edited to add: obviously this is just my carried items. I walk in trail runners, shorts, Merino T (year round) and cap; passport etc is part of my worn weight because they're always with me.
You could lighten this further if you're solely staying in the Gites along the way.
