Hello Everyone!

I will be beginning my journey on the 21st of August from Irun. I am thinking of walking the coastal route from Zarauk to Getaria, but my book recommends the higher elevation - would be interested in hearing comments either way and also wondering what the distance in length/elevation between the two is.

Vicki:

I always chose the coastal option except for Castro Urdiales to Liendo. It was a bit of a hike but I had to get off the road.

thank you, may I ask why you didn't do the Castro Urdiales to Liendo?
