Public transport from Porto to Casa da Laura Vilarinho

Can I get a train,metro or bus to Casa da Laura Vilarinho, which one will get me the closest, starting the Camino next Thursday 7th March.

We researched the same question the other day . Not to Vilarinho but to the albergue Monastério de Vairão , situated two kms earlier than Casa da Laura.
Unfortunately we have to take a taxi from the Porto airport to Vairão
Alternative is taking the meteo to Vilar do Pinheiro and start walking from there. About 8 kms

Hi thanks for help, looking to take metro to Arvore then an hour walking along N104 to Valarinho stopping at Casa Da Laura. Peter.

Where there is a will, there is a way. I stayed at Casa da Laura in 2017. It was wonderful. No meals, but the town is about a 10 minute walk, backwards...
