Place to leave hiking poles in Finisterra

Hello, I will be leaving from Finisterra and will not take my hiking poles with me.
Do you know if there is a place where I can give them to, so someone else can use it (something similar like Pilgrim House in Santiago)?
I might be able to leave them at the hotel I'm staying at, but it would be better to give it to a general place I think.

Thanks in advance

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Just out of curiosity: I have noticed that many people would rather leave the hiking poles than carry them home. Is this just because they really do not want to fly with checked luggage? Do you have others at home? Or maybe you don't use them in your area?

I ask because I paid more than 100€ for mine and I am surprised that so many people choose to leave them.

A great book to listen to while training for the Camino or to relive the experience!

I am in Spain now and will be flying back to the UK soon. Adding a checked-in bag long enough to include poles both ways would have more than doubled the cost of my airfares. Far cheaper to buy basic ones on arrival and then leave them behind.

Most albergues have a spot where you can leave unwanted items.
Thanks. I've given my poles to the place where I stayed.
I was just asking for a general place because people who aren't staying at the same albergue / hotel may still be able to get hiking poles, but such place is probably only in Santiago I suppose.

Some flight tickets (like mine) don't include check-in luggage.
Even if you can have checked luggage, if you only carry a hand luggage size (luggage / backpack), a lot of hiking poles doesn't fit in it. Or you would have to use a special case for the hiking poles and put it for check in.

A lot of people would probably buy a cheap one on arrival as mentioned above or get a secondhand from hostels / albergues (if they have any).

Me too. And it only costs approx 20€ to post them home in the special pole posting box at the Post Office.
