Alternative energy, social networks, enology or first aid are matters in which "not everyone is versed" why the Friends of the Camino de Santiago in Avila has driven some people microcursos between knowledge sharing.

'Share your knowledge' is the title of these microcursos that start today and, until March, various aspects closer multitude of topics to all participants in the talks, which will be held once a week.

With this activity, the Association of Friends of the Camino de Santiago de Avila aims not only to disseminate and share knowledge, but also promote friendship and companionship, values ​​"inherent" in the Jacobean pilgrims.

Alternative energy, in this sense, are the protagonists in the beginning of the microcursos, with intervention by Fernando Gutierrez, Mayor Gotarrendura.

This municipality has pioneered the installation of numerous initiatives precisely to renewable energy and sustainable development, which earned him, in 2011, the distinction 'City of Science and Innovation'.

The prize, awarded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, were given at a ceremony held in Seoul (South Korea), for the installation of photovoltaic panels integrated in the hostel for pilgrims in this town of just over 170 inhabitants located twenty kilometers from the city of Avila.

Thus, the photovoltaic panels, in its various possibilities, biomass and energy efficiency aspects are concerned in the beginning of the microcursos Fernando Gutierrez, as indicated by Efe.
