Just a shout out to all the wonderful people currently out on the trail. This is not easy and you are out here doing it with grace, humor, and compassion! Currently dealing with lots of rain and falling temps! Buen Camino friends!

Layer, then add add more layers. Prioritize keeping your head and hands covered, and your feet dry and warm.

Your poncho makes an effective wind break as well - adding to your warmth while walking - even if it is not raining.

When my dad and I were on one of our numerous motorcycle trips many years ago and we hit a day or days of bad weather, he would look at me with a grin and say, 'You don't always have to be comfortable to be having fun!'
I still think about that on days with less than optimal weather and smile.
