Hi, enquiring about accommodations on the Ourense route. Ourense is Ok for accommodation and Santiago is Ok, there will be three of us walking (I've been on the Camino a few times ) are there many Albergues along the way starting with Cea to Santiago (municipal or private) my grandson will be with me

Thanks in advance
Rgds

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
I have walked that route twice and found enough albergues or hostals open even in the middle of winter. If you are walking after Easter there will be more available. Not quite as spoiled for choice as the Camino Frances but nowhere near as busy either. As @Tincatinker says Gronze helpfully lists most of the options in their VdlP section.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Thanks, will be starting 12th April going to Santiago and finish in Fisterra. As I said taking my grandson with me for his birthday ( he’ll be 16)

Hello

I'm about to do the same camino than you but starting March 16th...
I'm planning it in Gronze website to do Ourense Santiago in four stages and then Fisterra in another four and its been more or less easy so far, but some accomodation dont open until Easter ...Last day of Easter is April 9th so if you start April 12th i think you dont have big issues to find accomodation

For example in Lalin(biggest village between Ourense and Santiago) the albergue is closed in march but its supposed to be open fron Easter, but i even didnt had problems to find cheap accomodation there...
Most of the public albergues in Galicia are open the whole year

I´m here if you have more questions

Buen camino
