As this forum is densely populated with Osprey fans I thought to ask if anyone has yet tried the new (at least in the UK) Archeon?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I haven't tried it, but on the specs alone, I would suggest it is too heavy to be a prime candidate for a Camino pack. The large back length is a smidgen under 2.2kg. This appears to be a result of the more robust fabrics - it looks like it is made from a pretty heavy recycled nylon canvas that will probably last for a lifetime of abuse in tough conditions. Generally the camino doesn't need that level of robustness - your pack isn't really going to be taking regular hard knocks, scraping through tough scrub, etc.

Yes, I agree.

The price is considerably more than my trusty Kestrel as well. All things being equal I’d take a more environmentally friendly option, but at the expense of weight I think Osprey are straying into environmental tokenism with this product.

Too many pockets also.
