Finding the Ermita de Santa Brigida

I'm a total newbie and could use some help finding this little site so I can take a pic for a friend.
It's near Burgos.
I've found "Approaching Hontanas (Province of Burgos, Castilla y León), there’s a tiny shrine to Santa Brigida (ermita de)" but it doesn't say from which direction, or indicate anything else about the trail.
If I go there - I'd like to see El Arco de San Miguel de Mazarreros, in the area, if it's close.

I've tried wikiloc (I don't have space on my phone for another ap) without luck, but that could be because I don't know how to use it well enough. Is there anyone out there who could help me find it?
I'd have to take a train or bus to the region first, coming from the same province.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles

I never heard of the one you asked about. A search in my Mapy.cz app showed five of them in Spain, but none of them near Burgos.

There's an Ermita de Nuestra Señora de la Peña in Tosantos a day or two before Burgos. That chapel only opens once a year on a celebratory day.

I've stopped there, it's a nice short detour, but all you see is the façade of a chapel built into a cave.

If I can't get there I'll miss it.
My post was asking for directions on how to get there (from which direction, on which trail)

Camino Francés is " the trail ". On the Meseta coming from the albergue San Bol.

See this map from Gronze. So to be even more specific : etapa from Hornillos del Camino towards Castrojeriz. Halfway.

EDIT : for more details you can use google maps and type in " Ermita de Santa Brigida ".

Since you said you might not have any more room for apps, @SabsP is saying its right before you walk into Hontanas on the Camino Frances trail. Here from Google mapsIMG_2756.webp

Hola - yes its about 500/800 metres before you enter Hontanas - on the right hand side (heading west). As the photo above shows its not all that big. Cheers

Perhaps a bit more detail --- leave Burgos on the Camino Frances, follow signs to Tardajos, and then Rabe. After Rabe follow the Frances to Hornillos (20 km from Burgos), and continue on past San Bol which is off to the left as you go up a slight rise. Another 5km to Hontanas - which you won't see until you're THERE - it's down in a bit of a ravine - the Ermita de San Brigida is just to the right as you start down to the town - a WONDERFUL place with an albergue Sta Brigida on the left past El Puntido - maybe open, maybe not, but Alb El Puntido (on the rt) should be open. IF Alb Sta Briguda is open, DO stay there!! It's been a few years since I was there, but it was a very nice place with communal dinner...
Buen Camino, @ThingamaBrig

Thank you, @OTH86, for the detailed description of how to spot the Ermita de Santa Brigida near Hontanas when walking the Camino Francés from east to west. Now to the other location - Arco de San Miguel de Mazarreros ...

The Tosantos donativo, Parroquial San Francisco de Asis, offers is guests a tour in Spanish of the Ermita when a local guide is available. Although not to everyone’s taste - I enjoyed my stay there last July.
