Time of past OR future Camino
(2016)
Planning on walking Norte-Primitivo starting about June 10, 2025.
Are the albergues very busy at that time and also what will the weather be?
I did this the end of August and September of 2017 and it was very busy.
Thank you for all input.

Join the Camino cleanup. Logroño to Burgos May 2025 & Astorga to OCebreiro in June
August is possibly the busiest month on the northern coast for both pilgrims and tourists, so you are likely to find fewer in June and July.

I started on the Norte last year in late May last year, and usually booked a day or two ahead with no problem.

Thank that sounds great.
I Plan to start in Bayonne

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I spent the night in Bayonne, but decided to start from the lighthouse in Biarritz. I enjoyed those two days walking along the coast in France. The albergue in St Jean de Luz was really nice.
Do you have an itinerary showing miles you walked and where you stayed? Is baggage transfer available?

Baggage transfer is available:
