Need help with hiking poles

And my Santa doesn't even walk the Camino and never complains when I leave home for 6 weeks every year (but then, why should he complain since he is usually found in Brazil, France, or California during that time?).

But to the question of cam-lock vs. twist lock. My old Lekis have never slipped on me even they are that old fashioned twist lock style. But tell me, what poles do you carry? Thanks!
Sorry for the late reply - I'm on the Camino now! :-). Mine are Black Diamond CF Flicklock poles. The CF stands for carbon fiber so thet are a bit lighter than aluminum.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I have said before in another discussion of walking stick, so integral to the body - buy two sets of rubber tips! No one talks about this. I lost a wonderful rubber cushioned tip walking out of Carillon when my stick got stuck in drain - tugging on it, left it down yonder.
Simple moral - EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE RUBBER TIPSx2
I spent two days with click and silence - all so avoidable with a few grams of an extra set of rubber tips!
