Monastery accommodations in Moraime

I have walked by the church and monastery in Moraime a couple of times now, on my way to Muxia. The last time I was there, the monastery was almost ready to open its accommodations. Looks like they have done that, and they look pretty great. The church there has some beautiful romanesque over the doorways, too. It's so close to Muxia, though, that it's hard to figure out how you would stage your walk to spend the night there.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
I thought the same thing! But we did have a look inside and it is absolutely gorgeous. I suppose the way to do it is just plan the extra day. It is a long stage coming from SdC on the third day, Olveiroa to Muxia, 33 km's worth, so you could just plan an early stop I suppose. Then walk the final 5 km into Muxia the next day. If you are stopping at the albergue, half way, in Dumbría it would be less than 20 km to Moraime. No problem if you have lots of time to spare!
