There is no “official” start to Camino. It begins where you begin. On the assumption that you are walking to Santiago and the old boy’s bones I’d suggest “go West” and buen Camino 😉

On the Norte...started Morgo headed to Santilanna del mer...today...wonderful walk.... 1st 7k and last 7k ...the middle industrail zone was meh. Just past polonca met loverly local spanish family whilst seeking directions....ended up sharing...
I wouldn’t go so tight at the ankle, because it can restrict movement. There’s a happy medium for sure but…the Lock Laces should help immensely! Keep me posted! (Feel free to reply with that on my channel too!)
