Meeting point in Barcelona's Sants station

I wonder if people who have been there recently have any suggestions about where two peregrinas coming from different continents should meet up at the train station to get a train south to our starting point at the mouth of the Ebro. We have the train schedule, but I wonder if there are obvious places for us to meet.

Getting excited, only 2 months and 11 days till my departure! Thanks, and Buen camino, Laurie

A good meeting place is the sitting area in front of the Mc Donalds. You know that that business won't be leaving the station any time soon.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Thanks, guys.

Looking at the list of cafes in the Sants Station I see there are alternatives to the McDonalds as well. Since the woman I will be meeting is Swedish, I think I'll let her choose the place. Don't want to seem like an Imperialist American, but more than that, I'm assuming the other alternatives will have better coffee -- and this will be my first coffee in Spain for Camino 2016!

If you and your friend have time, I'd recommend the Gran Galicia restaurant, 1-2 minutes walk from the station on the Carrer de Béjar. Very reasonable (in price and quality) mdd, excellent coffee and breakfast, friendly staff, possibility of first pulpo of the camino (in some cases, last pulpo before real Galicia). Very jealous you've so little time before the off - October seems a long time away.

Hello! I’ve been browsing the forum and there’s plenty of info for baggage transfers from stage to stage, where you pick it up daily, give it back and move on, however what I’m after is a service...
