On Saturday or Sunday July 14, I was unable to find a priest to hear my confession. I had a young American priest who heard my confession on the side of the Cathedral. Many thanks to him.

When I was there in July of 2018 I was unable to find a priest to hear my confession. Finally, I found a young American priest at the entrance of the Cathedral and he heard my confession.

IIRC correctly, MannyD is Fr. Manuel from the Cathedral. He has been offering the English Mass in a chapel at the Cathedral for at least two years that I can recall.

Make a note of this change and we will see you at Mass at the Pilgrim Office Chapel...

confession after Mass? isn't customary to have confession before Mass?
sorry but please read carefully it was before Mass and many priests were hearing confession but no one in English. As to no hearing confession during Mass, I am a Traditional Catholic and if there are two priests one will hear confession as long as possible.
