I carry reactine/citerizine for my own allergic reactions (which are awful).
I daily take a half dose of another second generation antihistamine, loratadine,
on caminos (excepting winter). It really helps me when I do get bitten…..as well as dealing with other environmental triggers.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

I will ask my immunologist about this. Is there a benefit over the citirazine?

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Ooooh. Claratin. NM. I can’t use it. Just doesn’t work for me…
Yes it works slower, initially, but with a steady level, it does seem to keep the Initial reaction to a minimum for me..with less side effects. After a bite, I go to a full dose 10mgs. for two days, then cut back down to 5mgs. Loradatine, the generic form is less expensive than Claratin.
