Luggage from USA to Ivar

Hi folks,
We are planning to send luggage from the USA to Ivar in Santiago to use on the second part of our vacation after we finish hiking. My question is what shipping services have people used to send luggage from the USA? It’s dawned on me that I’ve never done this and have had a difficult time finding resources.
Thanks for any info, peregrinos!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Yep, it's much better to ship your stuff once you get there. In addition to the customs issues when shipping from the US, it will also probably cost a lot more.

We've always just brought the extra suitcase as checked luggage and shipped it to Ivar as soon as we arrived in the country. If flying into Munich (Edited to say Madrid - hello - LOL), there is a post office (Correos) right at the airport.

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
A selection of Camino Jewellery
For Anton, Correos is the Sanish Postal Service, great within Spain, somewhat ah...well...less than great going international.

You could pay for transport. We did this in '16 because of a trip to Paris after the Camino.

Yes, bring it to any place inside the EU and ship it from there. Inside Spain is best, Correos works great. :)
Can I ship my suitcase from St. Jean? And where would I ship it to Santiago or somewhere before that? Also about how much does it cost and confirming that am I using the Postal Service?

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

It is easy to use Express Bouricot to ship your luggage directly from SJPdP to Santiago. See more here in their current web--

Good luck and Buen camino!
