Time of past OR future Camino

Hiya folks, my first post here, and I'm not sure if this is the correct place, so my apologies if not. This is a (no doubt hopeless) plea for anyone on the VDLP now or in the future who happens across a black buff/neck warmer/whatever you choose to call it, somewhere on the way between Aldeanuvea del Camino and La Calzada de Béjar to pick it up and pm me...

It has huge sentimental value to me, having walked with it for some 4000 miles in recent years! I backtracked 7 or 8 kms looking for it once I realised it was missing a couple of days ago, but to no avail. I had given it up as a lost cause but then thought there was nothing to lose putting a post on here. The Camino provides etc.! It's most likely somewhere around Baños de Montemayor as this is when the morning warmed up enough for me to finally take it off :)

Good luck. It's a good idea to put name tags on fundamentally-identical items. Ribbon bits with your name can be ordered off of Etsy in various shops there, I once ordered some for a child who had a (team specific) swimsuit. Worked like a charm.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

On my Camino a year and a half ago a friend I met there lost his hat almost immediately, in Roncesvalles. It had been a gift from his students some time back and he was crushed to lose it. Close to a month later he spotted it (it was very distinctive) on the head of an older Korean woman pilgrim in a town square. He told her his story, showed her a picture of himself in the hat for good measure, and she graciously handed it over. She has plucked it from the lost and found there, I believe. Needless to say he was beyond thrilled. So, there’s hope!

Thanks for the positivity everyone :)
Enjoy your VDLP Caminowalkers. It's beautiful and quiet right now - cold mornings though!
