Hello all,

As the subject line suggests, I’m in Santiago and looking to buy a new rain cover for my rucksack. I’m starting the walk to the coast tomorrow, my current cover won’t stay on anymore, and the weather forecast isn’t good!

So, does anyone have any suggestions on where I might be able to buy a cover? A casual sweep of the old town has thus far revealed about a million different items of merchandise... but, alas, no rain covers!

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Hi Mark!
Try Piteira on Rua das Orfas (in old town), and Decathlon City at Rua Republica de Salvador (in the newer shopping district). I'd start with Piteira even though they may be a bit more expensive.

Hope you find something great!
Faith

Both close to the old town:
Decathlon, Rúa da República de El Salvador 31
Deportes Romar, Rúa da Fonte de Santo Antonio 30
Buen camino!

Thanks for both of those suggestions. Much appreciated!
