Time of past OR future Camino
2025
I will be walking my first Camino starting in April 2025. I plan on arriving on the Saturday before Easter Sunday and spending the full Easter Sunday in Logroño. What are your favorite places to stay?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
Join the Camino cleanup. Logroño to Burgos May 2025 & Astorga to OCebreiro in June
I hope you find something cheap and nice.

I was with my "rental car" in Logroño over the Easter days this year. I used booking.com and saw beds for 200€ per night and above. Most hotels were fully booked. Means, I visited the town for 2 days and in each evening I drove to Haro, where I paid less than half of the money for a really nice Hotel (still, there were also processions in Haro with thousands of visitors and people coming back home from all over Spain during the Easter public holidays but it wasn't as crowded as in Logroño).

In September earlier this year I was in Logroño during their St. Martin/Wine festival. I got a private hotel room at Pension la Bilbaina. I had no clue this is what I was in for. But it was fun. I also have no clue if the Easter processions proceed along the same path. It's kind of a spartan place, but with a great view from the balcony for that particular parade.

Smack dab in the middle of Calle Laurel. Sleep on the street if had to... 🤣

I stayed at Albas Hostel Logrono a bit away from old city and center but then you get a very nice quiet night of sleep with no crazy partying all around. The door is on electronic code lock so no worries coming back after 10:00PM if that happens

In 2017 we stayed at Pension Daniel on the Calle San Juan, right in the middle of things and steps from the Cathedral. It had five rooms sharing two bathrooms , you get the key from the bar across the street.. The rooms are on an upper floor and we're surprisingly quiet considering we were there during the wine festival. We called just a day or two before arriving and we're able to get a room.

Second this. I stayed at Pension Daniel on Palm Sunday last year and it was a perfectly suitable, clean pension. Loved the bar across the street. Nice place to have a vino tinto and txistorra tapa.
