Time of past OR future Camino
I haven't done the Camino yet, but hopefully will.
Hello, I found this last month (and posted about it in an older thread about Camino like events). This event is billed as the "Kansas Camino". Just wondering if anyone has done this event?

It's a pilgrimage to honor medal-of-honor recipient Chaplain (Captain) Emil J. Kapaun. 4 day event that traverses 60 miles. I've never done the Camino myself but am fascinated with it an it's something I really want to do (and I'm starting to plan for it for when I can). I think this would be a neat trial run in an area of the US that sounds like its pretty similar to a few days on the Meseta but instead of staying in Albergue, you camp with tents. I know its not the Camino and is an organized event, but it's something I think I'd like to do and it helps that the start point is a 20 minute drive from my house :)

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

No it is not. Chaplain (Captain) Emil J. Kapaun passed away May 23, 1951 in captivity during the Korean War.
