Is there just a way to drop off luggage and then pick it up same place days later?

I can understand the Casa Ivar service with the shipping from another location and picking up later in Santiago, but we will be passing through Santiago on our way to Sarria, where we will begin walking just the last 100K of the trail back to Santiago. I would just like to go somewhere in Santiago and drop off the several suitcases we have and then pick those suitcases back up like 8 days later in Santiago after we do the walk. I don't need to ship anything or have anything transferred, just stored.

Is that is not something Casa Ivar does, can someone please recommend the best option for just luggage storage in Santiago. Thanks.

Another option would be to stay at a hotel that offers luggage storage. I've done this several times.

Leaving it at your hotel (if you stay there when you get back) is a good option. You can also leave it at the post office (turn right just after the first doors, not sure what they charge). ... and you can also leave it with me at my office (we charge €4,-/day/item):
