Hi Orford girl! I have NO idea what the problem is since you seem able to communicate....
But I wish you a buen Camino, with or without Internet :)

Are you talking about WIFI access to the internet, or the internet itself? In any case, did you raise the issue with the hospitalero? Often there is a simple fix, and in some places the quality of a WIFI service can vary substantially in different parts of the building.

ah I understand. I walked the Camino with my daughter and discovered that internet access is very like oxygen and the lack of it has simular affects! Internet access for a particular generation is at the very top of the pyramid of needs. Not Everyone understands that
Buen camino

Yeah, I don't. My bad, I chose the red pill...
Out of the Matrix, straight to Camino Wonderland!

Still, (sincere!!!) Buen Camino, the way that suits you best :)

I wouldn't be a fan either and would agree, however everyone is at different stages and we need to be accepting of that....
It's so easy to just disagree.... It's a lot harder to try and understand.

Hi Simeon :)
I agree with you! I was just in a joking-short-post mood  However, sorry if you felt stung, it was really not mt intention.
I know I didn't develop my disagreement, but I actually don't just disagree... So here's a little more.

I'm not sure I'd say there are stages between people, but for sure, everyone is different and has different liking! I respect tech-addicts' choices and sincerely (!!! did I say) wished a Buen Camino to them, on the way they like best. Even if I'd rather have a live chat with them ;)
Then, well, in fact, I actually lied... I do understand. (The joke didn't worked as well thought) I worked with youngsters, I totally get Internet is at the top of their world. (It's actually close to mine too when off-Camino!) I also get that deprivation is hard... isn't "rehab" first stages always that way? (My fix is sugar... I get it ;) ) And I get Internet is an awesome tool to deal with many daily matters. (First to use it too)

Finally, writing this post, I actually realize I don't really agree nor disagree. I look at things, some I prefer and others not, but I don't agree or not with them: they are, and that's it. I enjoy the things I prefer and pass the things I don't (or I hang around and discuss points of view ;) )
On the matter, I still personally believe that Internet is very useful but not essential, that the Camino offers much preferable things to think/do than Wifi, and that it's quite sad not to be able to unplug for a little while. I prefer to get off Internet on my Camino, but I understand and respect people who prefer differently.

Best Camino to all, with or without Internet!
