In September 2024 was there a bed crunch on the non Frances Caminos?

I'm thinking about doing some Caminos other than the Camino Frances
which I already did in Sept, 2022. I'm wondering if there was a bed crunch
on the other caminos in Sept 2024 because I might hike one in Sept 25 or 26.

...very much doubt it... perhaps the Ingleses...

In terms of the Norte, there is generaly a concern about beds, but as September goes on the surfers get fewer...

Hope that we are all doing well in '25 and '26, Carpe Diem...

Not so much an overall crunch, but in Sept 23 (from the 15th to the 28th) there were a couple of full towns along the Primitivo (Campiello, Berducedo, a little bit at O Cadavo), and then again from Boente to Amenal along the Frances. There were quite a few pilgrims entering Santiago on the 27th/28th of September 2023...cheaper lodgings were booked out unless you were willing to walk 5-6 more km to get there.

From the statistics, I believe there were more pilgrims on the Primitivo in Sep 24 than Sep 23.

BL: September is not a panacea.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
My partner walked the Primitivo in early September this year. There was definitely a bed crunch in Berducedo/ La Mesa, with people coming off the Hospitales and finding they had to take a taxi at the end to get a bed for the night. (I remember that in June 2019 Berducedo was full too - I had to walk on to La Mesa). He says Salas was quite challenging too.

Are bed bugs a problem in the winter months? I’ve had a few run-ins with bed bugs at rentals. They are the most disgusting, invasive, awful things in the world. Thanks in advance
