Well - I think I finally have the answer to all that worrying about rucksack weight - this way - no rucksack!
Also, this worrying about whether or not the refugio will be full - problem solved!

Sure, this might take a little longer, slightly shorter distances each day - but that is outweighed by the luxury!

I might import them and start a hire company ... at the foot of the Napoleon Pass perhaps ........ ??

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
There could be a big market for this David! Already my brother Glen is very keen and wants to place an order!

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Uh-oh! Another slackpacker - this time on steroids! I will take this in the humorous manner it was clearly intended. Thanks for the chuckle.

Buen Camino y'all

Hahaha!! I can't believe that I didn't think of adding Japanese (or is that Cantonese)-speeding-cyclo-maniac to my list of multi-legged creatures...

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
ooooh, where did you find that picture! LOL! You could charge someone to ride along in the sleeping bunk and take turns peddling?
