This will be my first Camino. Leaving from Porto May 9 or 10. I will walk the Senda Litoral. Debating between the costal or central way after that. I have up to 17 days if needed. Variante Espiritual is a possibility also. Really would love to have some input. TIA!

I enjoyed the CP a lot. I have walked it twice. I would usually have the albergue owners help me make a reservation for the next night, because they know each other pretty well. Their recommendations were very good. May *should* have less rain, but do some research on wet weather gear. Bom caminho!

Hi and Welcome to the Forum!
I have only walked the Coastal Senda and Espiritual so cant comment on the Central!
!7 days is enough to walk!
For a first Camino i think it was a good choice; i love the sea and being near it.
Infrastructure is good, food is good and everywhere i went the people were beyond brilliant!
The Espiritual was wonderful i will walk it again one day!
Porto is worth a couple of days as is Baiona !
Walk out of Porto with the river on your left straight to the sea and have a blast!
