Hello! I am Christine from Pennsylvania near Philadelphia. I will be undertaking my first Camino this October from Astorga to SDC. It has been something I have wanted to do for almost 20 years. So far all I have done, besides read, read, read, is book my flight and figure out in what towns I would like my overnights to be. I will be flying into Madrid on 10/11 and have to figure out how to get to Astorga from there and how to get back from SDC on 10/27 to fly out on 10/28. First time traveling out of the country since 1992 so feeling nervous but excited.

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
If you don't know already, try the "Rome to Rio" website or app or the "Google Maps" website or app for transportation suggestions. "renfe.es" and "alsa.es" are the websites for the Spanish national rail and bus services, and you can book directly.

It took me a little over 20 years to get around to my first Camino also. An Astorga start is a great choice. Wishing you a great Camino!

Welcome! There's a very active American Pilgrims chapter in Philly -- there are frequent walks on weekend mornings, followed by lunch and lots of Camino talk. Find us on MeetUp. There are a few walks coming up in the next month -- if you have time, sign up for one and join us!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
