Health & Safety Conditions on Portuguese Camino

Hello fellow pilgrims,
I will be embarking on my first Camino at the beginning of October but I’m concerned about the wildfires and air quality conditions at the moment. Can you please advise what current conditions are like? Any travel restrictions?

It is raining in Santiago right now, and I think it also is raining in Portugal... if so, that should help a lot with the fires... don't know of any traveling restrictions.
