Hello Folks,Has anyone used either train or bus from Bilbao to Bayonne ?
Thank you, that's good to know and a great help.Sorry , it wasn´t possible to log in yesterday @Jude & Julie but the info which above is correct - 2 buses and it takes 3 hours. The train alone takes 3 hours just to Donosti/San Sebastian ( Not worth it).
Ondo Ibili !
Thank you, that's a great help.Hello Folks,
I travelled by bus from Bilbao to Bayonne in May (2013).The bus company is PESA (www.pesa.net) and there are two buses per day (7.30am and 1pm in the afternoon).
Takes about 3 hours and I think it cost approx € 17.You get the bus from the central bus station ,TERMIBUS,near San Mames football stadium. You can buy your ticket at the PESA ticket kiosk in the bus station.
Buen Camino !
Thank you for your advice.Euskotren operates a series of commuter rail lines from Bilbao to Hendaye (Hendaia). There is at least one train per hour during daylight hours. A transfer is required at Amara.

SNCF operates trains from Hendaye to Bayonne. SNCF TER operates regional trains.
