Framing the Pilgrim's Passport/Credentials

Hi!

I just returned from finishing the Camino Frances. What an incredible experience! I was just wondering if anyone here on the Camino Forum framed their pilgrim's passport. I stopped by a custom frame shop the other day and it was expensive to get a custom frame. Anyone have any good suggestions?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
No idea where you're from but if you're in the US, try Michaels or one of the other craft stores. It'll still be expensive but not as expensive as a dedicated frame store. You might also try going to a store like bed, bath and beyond and seeing if you can find a pre-made frame that will do. I collect art when I travel and once after a big trip I took my entire portfolio of art to BB&B and came out with about 20 frames. :)

Thank you so much for your advice! I went to Michaels today (yes - I'm located in the US) and bought a pre-made frame that fit my credential passport PERFECTLY. It was on sale too!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Glad it worked out for you! Getting things framed is the bane of my collecting existence. :) Assuming you have sellos on both sides of your passport, you should see if you have a place where you can hang it where people can see both sides. My friend had something similar and suspended it over the middle of her dining room table so both sides could be seen. it looked great and was a real conversation starter.
