First Aid Kit for Camino Frances

What are the essential items to have in a first aid kit for the Camino Frances? I begin in St. Jean on August 26th. I am trying to "Go Light" and I understand I will find pharmacies on the way, but I don't want to be caught without something that I may need.

Hi Nancy - yes, go light is the way, though you can put a light kit together that would cover most situations. Don't rely on pharmacies too much as it is more than likely that you will have problems (if you have problems that is) many miles away from a pharmacy. Think of a pharmacy as a place to restock your kit really.
I started a thread a little while ago about a first aid kit for helping others ..... you could easily create your own from it I should think...

There's an excellent, and free, Camino First Aid booklet by Rev. Tom Hill and Emmeline Hill you can download to a PDF which has a good list for a first aid kit, including Amazon order numbers.
