Hi!! I'm looking for about the same advice!! I am actually starting in Porto and wanting to go directly to Finisterra, and then to SdC. If ever you have info, let me know and if I do I'll let you know... Cheers,... and Buen Camino. PS.. this will be my second. I did SJPDP to SdC last year.

SDC to Finisterre is a three to four day walk, Finisterre is not a city but a seaside town and IMO is worth the hike. You can get a bus back to Santiago and then one from there to Porto as far as I know.
Buen Camino.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Or you could always 'wing it'. Follow the Camino Portugues from Porto to Padron and then cut west to Serra de Outes to eventually join the Camino Finistere near Mazaricos. From Padron to Finisterre the distance would be roughly 80 k.

If only one could walk out to the lighthouse without passing through what the town has become...sigh

Ask for Begonia, she has a small guest house past the stark modern albergue she's a wonderful person. There is a funny Muxia document like a Compostela availabe at the library=open irregular hours. Just before Muxia, in the village of Figueiras, is the glorious Romanesque Church of San Xulián de Moraime – you will need some luck to see the inside – a wedding perhaps, Sunday mass, or God Forfend a funeral. It is marvelous!

If you go :
http://vaicomcalma.blogspot.com/2012/03/PORTO-SANTIAGO.COMPOSTELA-240KM.html
and
Download de vários percursos e possiveis alternativas ( percurso feito em 2015 )
then open the file in Google Earth and active:
Santiago>Finisterra>Muxía>Padron
and
07-Negreira a Padron_24,5 Km

This way is made 100% in the road, but with very little traffic
